I had an amazing time speaking at The Reset Conference 2019! I'd love to come back and teach again next year, but for now, I've added some of the highlights from my session that had the most questions associated with them. I know there were a lot more, but these were the one's that as an Educator/Speaker that really have the most impact if not implemented or understood. I. WHAT IS A LANDING PAGE? In online marketing, a landing page, sometimes known as a "lead capture page", "static page", or a "destination page", is a single web page that appears in response to clicking on a search engine optimized search result, marketing promotion, marketing email, or an online advertisement. If you go to my Instagram page, click the link in my BIO. That link will take you the landing page I customized for my wedding business. Reminder: Create a customized landing page is better for you then using a program like LINKTREE which takes away the SEO juice you could receive by sending the viewer directly to your site like this (click image).

II.WHAT IS A CALL TO ACTION: A call-to-action is an exhortation or stimulus to do something in order to achieve an aim or deal with a problem."he ended his speech with a call to action."

- MARKETING(in advertising material) a piece of content intended to induce a viewer, reader, or listener to perform a specific act, typically taking the form of an instruction or directive (e.g. buy now or click here )."all spam has some call to action that typically urges the user to visit a website."

III.IG Stories BORDER TRICK (In-App)

Use the TEXT option in Instagram Stories to create a border. Simply, type the letter "I", turn it vertically and stretch it to the length and width you desire. Do this twice if you want a border on the top and bottom of your image/video. Save that image/video to your camera roll. If you want to add text to that video/image, simply open that same video/image to Instagram Stories and type what you desire to say.

VII. WHAT YOU NEED TO CONSIDER AS A BUSINESS OWNER: I'm sharing this message with you because even though I shared it last week in relations to the social media blackout, I want you to know this as well.

"I know sometimes we don’t want to give our email addresses out because of spam content, but when it comes to being connected to what we want & need - IT’S WISE! The only reason why you're reading this is because you're on my email list or opted-in at some point to stay connected with me, and now you have the upper-hand to still receive content from me while social media is down!

These platforms could go away ANY MINUTE! Make sure you are focusing enough time on your blog, website, video-marketing, and email marketing so you don't lose all of your hard work, but more importantly the connection you've made within the community you've built (clients and customers)! It would be a stressful world when it comes to marketing if you don't have an email list, a website, or content on any other channels.
