Holy Trinity Maitland: Stephanie & Donald
Stephanie & Donald | Holy Trinity Maitland Reception Center
I first met Stephanie and Donald on the day of their Engagement Session, but Stephanie knew me from a local church that we both attended years ago. I don't remember meeting her in person while attending that church because it had a lot of members, but she also heard about me and my wedding photography through a mutual friend Melissa Cotton (who is also a #UIBRIDE). One of the things I loved about Stephanie's idea for her Engagement Session was incorporating their cultural flags. With Stephanie being of Nigerian descent and Donald of Haitian descent, this was a great way to make their session unique to their love story. WATCH THIS VIDEO: A Special Message From Anesha Collins
On their wedding day, I was so happy to see Stephanie because (along with her amazing Wedding Planner Kerline of Joie de Vie Weddings & Events, we had all been in communication about the many details of their wedding day and more. I arrived on location at the Sheraton Orlando North Hotel where I was greeted by Kerline, one of her Lead Assistants for the day, and of course my beautiful #UIBRIDE Stephanie. I entered the room and saw her stunning Bridesmaids all ready to go in their Bridal Party robes. Stephanie was still getting her hair done, so I headed straight for the details! If you've read my blog for a while now you know I LOOOOOOOVE detail shots! On location for the ceremony held at Holy Trinity Maitland Reception Center, I immediately greeted Donald since I spent most of the morning with the ladies. He looked sharp in his Jos A. Banks suit. I loved the suede color he chose. You'll see exactly what I mean as you comb through some of my favorite shots from their wedding day. When Donald walked down the aisle he was all smiles as family and friends of both Stephanie and Donald were there to celebrate their special union. RJ Glamour & Innovation really did an amazing job with the floral arrangements. From the ceremonial setup, to the bouquets, and reception centerpieces, I was in love with it all! Fast forward to Stephanie to walking down the aisle in her Allure Bridal Gown that she got locally from Lily’s Bridal, you could see Donald's face from the top of the aisle as he smiled from ear to ear. He was so happy to see her and Stephanie probably could've ran down the aisle (if not in high-heels) to get to Donald faster. They have the cutest energy between the two of them that really make watching how much they love each other so beautiful to see. After their first kiss as Mr. & Mrs. Orelus, Stephanie and Donald happily danced their way down the aisle whispering sweet-nothings to each other with more kisses in between each step. The reception was so beautiful with the incorporation of cultural dancing that included the traditional money-spray and moments where the Bride and Groom danced with family members and more.
Can you see why Donald fell in love with Stephanie? Look at that beautiful smile!
Enjoy reliving your wedding day as you travel around for your honeymoon Stephanie and Donald!
