5 People That Have Helped Me In My Business Series Orlando Wedding Photographer | Orlando Wedding Videographer | Unashamed Imaging
1. My Grandmother My grandmother has supported me since I was a little girl. She has been my cheerleader for years. She always gave me words of confidence and uplifted me when I felt defeated or like I couldn't do much. My grandmother never really saw me be successful with my business. When I really decided to give my all to Unashamed Imaging I became caved. Meaning my focus was all in business. I didn't call her as much and I also didn't visit New York as much as I used to. I cry sometimes because I want to call her and let her know what's going on with my business and things of that nature, but I can't because she passed away almost three years ago. I miss her a lot, but I have her voice as a memory. I honestly think back to being a little girl and the positive things she would tell me whenever I feel afraid. 2. Adam Ivy I met Adam over 8 years ago via social media. We naturally connected and linked up. Adam was almost the male version of my grandmother except he came with things that were business focused and things that I could implement to really shift my focus to where it needed to be. He became a major confidant and someone that I knew wouldn't blow smoke up my butt. 3. All of my Male Mentors My male mentors are why I am the way I am. They instilled something in me that I don't take for granted. There are things that I know I wouldn't have learned from any other type of mentor. These people gave me insight and allowed me to fully pull out the creative side of me. 4. Annys: My S.I. Homie Where do I start? I've known Annys since high school. She has been there for me through the ups and downs and more. She's seen me cry, give up (temporarily), and then pick back up as if nothing happened. She has been the voice of reason when I felt like I couldn't overcome something that was really heavy for me. She has also been my spiritual reminder. She always reminds me of who is really charge of this journey and how I am loved and protected. My grandmother has supported me since I was a little girl. She has been my cheerleader for years.
