Ijay and Cecil were married on a beautiful day in Florida at The Omni Hotel and Resort at Championsgate. They started the day off with their wedding parties in their Bridal and Groom suites. Family and friends from all over gathered together to witness this union and it was definitely unforgettable. Ijay worse a beautiful gown made by Ines DiSanto from Solutions Bridal Salon.

We met over 20 years ago, but officially began dating in May 2002. Our families had been long time friends, but it took a summer in Maryland for us to realize that we were interested in each other. After 11 years of dating, countless trips to LA and San Francisco, Cecil proposed on August 19th 2013 in Pensacola, FL. On the day of our wedding, we will have been together for over 14 years, which is almost half of our lives!! We certainly couldn’t have predicted that life would bring us together in the way it did, but we firmly believe that our union is ordained by God, and cannot wait to spend the rest of our lives together.
