Alicia & Garnett tied the knot at the beautiful Tavares Pavilion on the Lake in Tavares, Florida. Alicia was an attendee of The Bride Series; an online platform that helps couples have a better wedding planning experience with segments hosted by Unashamed Imaging featuring professionals within the Wedding industry. Alicia and Garnett are also both in Medical School, so The Bride Series really helped them to plan and still focus wholeheartedly on medical school. The day started out in Orlando, Florida where Alicia and her bridal party had their makeup done by Erwin Artistry while Garnett was an early-bird at the main venue. Wedding Color Scheme: Mulberry, Colbalt Blue, Ivory, Gold How They Meet & The Proposal (From The Bride): Garnett and I met in 2012 during our masters program at Barry University. We became friends through a study group and began medical school together in 2013. We had been best friends for nearly 4 years, sharing our hearts to one another about joys, aspirations, struggles and failed relationships all while our prayers for a husband/wife were being answered right before our eyes. Our friendship flourished and in 2016, God moved on our hearts to pursue each other. We began dating in May 2016 and 7 months later got engaged. We have a long distance relationship and see each other every 3-4 months. Its tough but we make it work, (Thank God for advanced technology and frequent flier miles lol!!). We are currently finishing up medical school and so excited about what is to come. We desire to practice medicine locally and abroad.
