Summer Fun Tampa Florida Engagement

​ How did you meet: DeJuan and I met on Twitter in 2011. At the time, I was attending the University of Florida in Gainesville, his hometown, and he was attending Florida A&M University in Tallahassee. After talking via text and flirting on Twitter, we met in person a few weeks later when he returned to his hometown to visit family and friends.What did you do on your first date?Our first date was a dinner and a movie night. What is Your Wedding Location? The Regent in Riverview, FL. What are some of your favorite things to do as a couple? Attending church, traveling, zip-lining, rock climbing, horseback riding, game night(s) (spades, Uno, Scattergories, Twister, etc). ​How has wedding planning been so far? Fun, exciting and stressful all in one. Thankful for our planner who stepped in and helped tremendously taking pressure off of us. It has also been time consuming, we began planning over a year in advance and the months are flying by. ​

​ The Engagement Session: Describe your engagement session. Did you have a theme?: We wore two outfits, formal and casual. The first outfit was Magenta, Gray, and White. The second outfit was Jean, Blue, and White. Brittany Attire: Lulus (Dress)

Dillards (Heels) DeJuan: Burlington Tell us what you're looking forward to most on your wedding day.: Changing my last name and gaining two beautiful daughters in the process and sharing this great experience with family and close friends. As with most things, people don't see the work and effort put into anything, they just see the final result and we want to make our wedding day memorable for all parties involved.

How about the ring: Tell us a bit about it.:The ring is actually the second that DeJuan has ordered from Zales, the first was a total surprise and therefore too big (he was clueless to my ring size and didn't want to ruin it by asking lol). It also was white gold and I prefer rose or yellow gold so we returned it in exchange for something more favorable.

When it comes to your wedding what are you looking forward to the most working with Unashamed Imaging? Candid shots, videography, and their excellent work. I worried about finding the perfect person to capture this special day for us and Unashamed Imaging has removed all doubt and worry that once was a burden. I can't say enough great things about Unashamed Imaging.

Is there anything additional you'd like to share about your session: MAKEUP ARTIST: Carissa Mosley, LLC for the incredible work. My original MUA cancelled and Carissa stepped in, short notice, traveled to my house and got straight to work. Very swift, efficient, and professional. I received multiple compliments from onlookers during our E-session and I want to send her a huge thanks for that! ​​ PHOTOGRAPHER: Unashamed Imaging, LLC; Anesha and her assistant Ron did a wonderful job, meeting and vastly exceeding all of our needs. DeJuan hates taking pictures but mentioned how easy it was working with UI thanks to their expertise and friendliness. Laila and Caiden also had a great time acting as little assistants and Anesha made their day as if they were her own kids. Anesha has a great eye and thus our possibilities became endless, her excitement of new scenery around every corner added to the thrill of wanting to be a part of the perfect shot. We got carried away (even lost on campus, sorry! Lol) and went over our alloted time but not once did they rush nor complain which was very professional despite us inconveniencing them. If a picture is worth a thousand words, Unashamed Imaging is worth a million! Thank you!!
